Palmitoylethanolamide, also known as PEA, is a naturally occurring fatty acid compound found in plants and animals. PEA has anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and analgesic (pain relieving) properties.

PEA does not directly block pain signals the way opioids and analgesics do. It is not an NSAID, opioid, or steroid.

Directions:

Large Dogs: 1/2 – 1 tsp daily

Light Equines: 1 tsp daily

Heavy Equines: 1 – 2 tsp daily

Approximately a 45 day supply for light equines.

Must be administered in food containing a small amount of healthy fats or added oil (coconut, hemp, etc.).

Palmitoylethanolamide has no known drug interactions or side effects, however, discontinue use if any adverse effect is suspected. Discontinue use if your pet is showing signs of gastrointestinal upset.

For use in animals. Safe use in pregnant and lactating animals has not been studied.
